Web 2.0 Learning opportunity: My experience

With Web 2.0 training workshop, I have discovered new techniques about how people can contribute information, provide feedback, share ideas and connect to other users with similar interests.  Furthermore, I had the opportunity to learn about the effective and efficient use of: Advanced Search, Google Alerts, RSS feeds, Google docs, Wikis, VoiP, Google Mapping, Blogging, Microblogging, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.  As I am presently working as Senior Technical Officer(Wildlife) in the Public Awareness Section of the National Parks and Conservation Service, I am confident that I shall make utmost use of the learning outcomes of this training workshop in creating, sharing and disseminating information.
I personally wished to thank the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), University of Mauritius(UoM) and Food and Agricultural Research Council(FARC)for having provided me the opportunity to attend this training workshop.
